New website and online magazine for the most luxurious destination in Abu Dhabi

The Galleria on Al Maryah Island is Abu Dhabi’s luxury shopping and dining destination set on the stunning waterfront promenade. It’s a house for more than 130 offerings of high-end retailers and chef-driven restaurants. Since its opening in August 2013, The Galleria has become a landmark for a luxury experience recognizable around the globe.

Our goal was to reflect that exceptional luxury experience online with a new website. It should be helpful, attentive and pleasant as any true luxury. That’s why we’ve put visitors in the centre and work-out service-driven design.

The Focus on Visitors

The Galleria is the place where visitors can receive luxury experience in the appropriate environment, shops and restaurants. That puts visitors in the focus of everything The Galleria team do. The same approach we used when we worked on the website.

We’ve described every reason why visitors might be seeking to do with the website. It includes looking for information about location, operating hours, available facilities, events, shops, restaurants and many others. With an understanding of the motivations of the visitors, we’ve designed the platform that perfectly satisfies their needs and wrapped it up in a beautiful luxury style.

On-Site Navigation

The shop and dining directory helps visitors to find a specific place they are looking for or ensure that it is available on a site. Any piece of information might be required by the visitor was carefully noted on the website. Working hours, contact information and location found its place on a destination page.

Interactive map helps visitors to find the exact location of the shop, restaurant or other facilities and navigate easier on a place.

The Magazine

The Galleria is not only a location on a map, but it’s a lifestyle, vision, experience. To share that vision The Galleria team introduce its own magazine. It also found its place on the website.

A modular system allows editors to design their content with no limits. Would it be an interview with the chief, related event or promotion - it will find its own style to tell the story.

Events, Announcements and Media Center

The Galleria team is always working to impress its visitors with something new to deliver an unforgettable experience every single time. Events are planned on a year ahead, and some changes happened every week. To keep visitors up-to-date the Events and Announcements section has been introduced on the website. New restaurants, stores, events or other announcements are published to this section.

The Galleria is often taking the attention of the press. To make it easier to communicate with the editors we’ve built a Media Center. It includes press releases, brand assets, photo and videos of events and location – everything might be needed to highlight The Galleria in the best possible way.
